Apparently based on the "true" story of Yorkshire family terrorised by a spirit in the power black outs of 1974.
Well the movie certainty recreates the 70's, sadly it also recreates some of the dreadful low budget horror flicks of that era. Zero suspense, this is a horror film isn't it? as at time's it laughable as it plods along like a very bad episode (of the excellent) 80's TV Show "Hammer House Of Horror"
No chills, or thrills, just a painfully bad exercise in how to make a poor horror flick. Every 'scare' tactic is here, just badly produced unlike recent efforts such as the as "Sinister" and the "Paranormal Activity" series (well parts 1+3)
